I had to have my kitchen light removed and relocated approximately one metre closer to the window.
Yes, why not start using solar panels and the energy generated by them to charge up your EV.
Battery storage installation is a great way to store excess energy made by the panels on the roof of your Corby property. If you’re starting out from scratch, the cost of solar panel installation and adding a home EV charger costs between £5,000- £15,000 but this varies according to the number of panels you want installed and if you do take on board DNA Power Solutions’ advice and add battery storage too. DNA Power Solutions are ground breaking and highly reputable renewable energy specialists in the Corby area. Our installers are skilled and experienced as EV Charging and Solar Panels are some of our most popular services.
How can DNA Power Solutions help with EV Charging and Solar Panels?
As an MCS certified team, our passion for renewable energy is clearly visible to all our clients. From the initial site survey and consultation to testing and commissioning systems once installed, you are guaranteed a personalised service. For example, at a recent project at Merestone Road, Corby, we worked with a homeowner who already had solar panels installed. They had just purchased an electric vehicle and wanted the convenience of overnight charging at home. Our recommendation was to add a battery storage system to work alongside a Zappi charge which includes a boost mode for speedy night charging.
What are the benefits of EV Charging and Solar Panels?
As a Corby based homeowner, why not make your home totally self generating by using the Sun’s light energy. You can power up your home as well as use electricity for EV charging, especially when using a battery storage system too. This way you could even sell any excess electrical energy that your household hasn't used back to the grid. DNA Power Solutions walk you through the ideal battery storage size which is compatible with the solar panels at your home. We do factor in daily mileage when driving as well as low, flexible energy tariffs which could be paired with the battery storage system.

The 4 bedroom property on Merestone Road, Corby had more than enough solar panels to provide the household with electricity so we didn't think adding more solar panels was the right solution. That's why adding a battery storage system at 16kWh was the right fit for this particular family.
